In both stillness and movement we

discover deep connection with self and others

We feel heard | We are seen | We heal

Hi, I’m Naomi Cassrels

Connection is essential for well being and allows us to thrive. I am passionate about helping people find their way to wellness through bodywork, movement and the therapeutic process. My practice is based in Auckland.

My mission is to create safe, supportive and inclusive spaces for healing from injury and trauma; and to help bring more wholeness, wellness and oneness into the lives of my clients.

What I offer

I have been practicing for over 30 years and have developed a strong blended style of therapeutic bodywork and has excellent results with pain management and chronic conditions. I have an empathetic and intuitive perception of my client needs.

Neuromuscular Therapy

Neuromuscular therapy (NMT) is based on the knowledge that the Nervous System controls the Musculoskeletal System.
It uses advanced massage techniques to bring your body into balance, improve posture, flexibility and range of movement.

It promotes a balance between nervous and musculoskeletal systems, targeting acute and chronic conditions.

Myofascia Release

Myofascial Release (MFR) uses gentle and firm sustained pressure that elongates and unwinds fascial adhesions so that the muscles and fascia can return to alignment. MFR may help to relieve acute pain from injuries, poor posture and promote ease and relaxation.

TMJ and Voice massage

This may help with:

  • Improved blood flow in areas that were formerly restricted
  • Headaches and facial pain

My background philosophy

Naomi Cassrels

From an early age, my path led me towards the world of healing. I’ve always held an intuitive belief that establishing connections based on trust and the power of touch can be instrumental in helping others achieve wellness in their lives. My dedication to learning and expanding my knowledge in this field is unwavering.

Throughout my 30-year career, I’ve had the privilege of practising in diverse locations, serving individuals from a wide array of cultural backgrounds as both a solo practitioner and in collaboration with other health professionals.

In 2017, I returned to New Zealand and for three meaningful years, I dedicated my skills to working with refugees, who often bear the weight of traumatic experiences. This experience profoundly shaped my practice and my understanding of the healing process.

When I’m not in the healing space, I cherish my spare moments by indulging in dance, nurturing my creative spirit, gardening and walking my dogs.

Understanding the body’s wisdom helps support our innate pathways to healing.

Testimonials

I have had the pleasure of meeting Naomi on a retreat, and being a big fan of myofascial massage booked in with her straight away.  Having experienced many styles, this is the style that suits my body the most and when you find someone so in tune, its rare – so you hold onto them with both hands. Years of fine tuning her practice is felt through every session, where I may walk in stressed, tired, sore, broken and walk out feeling centred, nurtured, held, and often taller.  I could not recommend her more – she is the absolute top of her industry and I’m very lucky to have found her!

Naomi is an outstanding healer. I have had body work treatments from her for the past 30 years. (…) For the past 4 years whilst awaiting spinal surgery after an accident, Naomi kept me upright and mobile. She helped reduce my pain. Now that I have had successful surgery she has done fantastic work on the scar tissue. Speeding up my recovery and enabling mobility and healing to progress faster than the surgeons anticipated. She has also helped to stabilise my organs which were disturbed during surgery.

Naomi has such a vast number of skills, training and experience that she intuitively knows what is needed. Her comfortable relaxed manner means you are quickly made to feel comfortable and at ease. (…) I recommend anyone who requires therapeutic body work to book in for a dose of Naomi magic.

Freisja

I found Naomi to be an outstanding therapist and someone who’s fully committed to providing a very professional yet personal experience. I’d highly recommend her.

Peter Moses

Naomi blends knowledge, experience and intuition to do body work that homes in on what your body needs in any given moment. Calming and relaxing or deep and releasing – it’s all there in her toolkit. Delivered with a generous heart, a big smile, and wonderful hands!
