Neuromuscular Therapy

This physical therapy promotes a balance between nervous and musculoskeletal systems, targeting acute and chronic conditions.

Myofascia Release

Myofascial tissues exist under the skin throughout the body.  MFR treats myofascial pain, and chronic pain caused by sensitivity and tightness in the myofascial tissues. It helps to reduce pain through easing the tension and tightness in the trigger points of the myofascial tissues .

Remedial Massage Therapy

By working with the soft tissue of the body, RMT is both powerful and gentle. It is restorative in nature.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

BCST uses gentle intelligent touch to help gently unwind the nervous system from patterns of compression, hypervigilance and inertia, to promote a feeling of ease and flow.

Arvigo® Mayan Abdominal Massage

This non-invasive external massage technique provides support for women, promoting circulation and the flow of Chi to bring about the healing of the digestive system and the uterus.

Qoya Inspired Movement

Qoya is a practice that brings together dance, breath, yoga, community, ceremony, fun, love, magic and more. It invites you to slow down and connect, and inspires you to remember your deepest self as wise, wild and free.

FAQ’s

What does a treatment cost?

I charge $125 for 1 hour and $180 for an hour and a half.

Can you help to treat my sore neck?

My work helps to address long standing acute and chronic pain patterns.

What is Qoya?

I offer Qoya to groups and this offers a group experience for participants to have a collective guided and fun experience of healing through music.  This supports and guides our nervous system to experience and reach a new state of trust and togetherness.  I use oracle cards, movement and music to activate these experiences.  These sessions can be therapeutic or more about a new uplifting experience.  Everyone takes away something different.

How many people are in a Qoya class?

I generally keep my classes to no more than 12 people.

My background & philosophy

From an early age, my path led me towards the world of healing. I’ve always held an intuitive belief that establishing connections based on trust and the power of touch can be instrumental in helping others achieve wellness in their lives. My dedication to learning and expanding my knowledge in this field is unwavering.
Throughout my 30-year career, I’ve had the privilege of practising in diverse locations, to serve individuals from a wide array of cultural backgrounds in both a solo practitioner capacity and in collaboration with other health professionals.

In 2017, I returned to New Zealand and for three meaningful years, I dedicated my skills to working with refugees, who often bore the weight of traumatic experiences. This experience profoundly shaped my practice and my understanding of the healing process.
When I’m not in the healing space, I cherish my spare moments by indulging in dance, nurturing my creative spirit, gardening and walking my dogs.

In both stillness and movement we discover deep connection with self and others.

We feel heard | We are seen | We heal

Qoya

I offer Qoya as a group experience for participants to have a collective, guided and fun experience of healing through music.  This process supports and guides our nervous system to experience and reach a new state of trust and togetherness.  I use oracle cards, movement and music to activate these experiences.  These sessions can be therapeutic or just about having a new uplifting experience.  Everyone takes away something different.

Testimonials

I have had the pleasure of meeting Naomi on a retreat, and being a big fan of myofascial massage booked in with her straight away.  Having experienced many styles, this is the style that suits my body the most and when you find someone so in tune, its rare – so you hold onto them with both hands. Years of fine tuning her practice is felt through every session, where I may walk in stressed, tired, sore, broken and walk out feeling centred, nurtured, held, and often taller.  I could not recommend her more – she is the absolute top of her industry and I’m very lucky to have found her!

Naomi is an outstanding healer. I have had body work treatments from her for the past 30 years. (…) For the past 4 years whilst awaiting spinal surgery after an accident, Naomi kept me upright and mobile. She helped reduce my pain. Now that I have had successful surgery she has done fantastic work on the scar tissue. Speeding up my recovery and enabling mobility and healing to progress faster than the surgeons anticipated. She has also helped to stabilise my organs which were disturbed during surgery.

Naomi has such a vast number of skills, training and experience that she intuitively knows what is needed. Her comfortable relaxed manner means you are quickly made to feel comfortable and at ease. (…) I recommend anyone who requires therapeutic body work to book in for a dose of Naomi magic.

Freisja

I found Naomi to be an outstanding therapist and someone who’s fully committed to providing a very professional yet personal experience. I’d highly recommend her.

Peter Moses

Naomi blends knowledge, experience and intuition to do body work that homes in on what your body needs in any given moment. Calming and relaxing or deep and releasing – it’s all there in her toolkit. Delivered with a generous heart, a big smile, and wonderful hands!
